HERE TODAY, GONE TO MAUI
CalGeo Annual Conference 2012
Early Bird Registration Due by Feb. 17th!
E Komo Mai! (Welcome!)
CalGeo's 2012 Annual Conference will be in beautiful Maui. We have a great rate at The Sheraton Resort & Spa and look forward to presenting interesting speakers and events to our attendees.
ABOUT THE HOTEL:
The Sheraton Maui Resort’s 23 oceanfront acres flow gracefully from the crest of Black Rock to the shores of Ka'anapali Beach. The hotel is part of the Ka'anapali Beach Resort community which includes the Ka'anapali Golf Courses and Whaler’s Village Shops and Restaurants. The Sheraton Maui is a 40-minute drive from the main ariport at Kahului (airport code OGG) and is a short 10- minute drive from historic Lahaina.
As one of the older resorts on the Ka'anapali beach, The Sheraton had the first choice of location and is on the BEST beach. The hotel is family friendly with many activities available. There are endless ocean activities such as clear-water snorkeling with turtles, sailing on the Teralani, kayaking with dolphins, scuba diving and deep sea fishing, all nearby their resort.
In addition to Ka'anapali Beach, the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa offers a plethora of Hawaiian cultural activites to help you experience the Spirit of Aloha. For instance, you may want to learn the ancient art of Hula, make a flower lei, or learn to play the ukulele .
As the sun sets over Black Rock, experience the magic of these islands with their one of a kind Torch Lighting and Cliff Dive Ceremony, found only at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa.
Nearby, the charming town of Lahaina promises even more fun and exciting experiences including entertainment, cultural events and world-class shopping and dining.
